Immersive experiences that offer the time, space, and inspiration to learn, create, and explore in close connection with nature.

Internship: Learn and work side-by-side with Flock.

Get your hands dirty, learn by doing, and grow your skills.

If you love being outdoors, getting your hands in the soil, and learning by doing, consider joining us for Flock’s Fall Internship in New York’s beautiful Finger Lakes region.

This is an unpaid, 2- or 4-week internship, working approximately 20 hours per week alongside the Flock team. Fall is one of our busiest seasons, so you’ll get hands-on experience helping with a variety of projects across the gardens and landscape, while also having plenty of free time to explore Flock and the surrounding area.

It’s an opportunity to learn, contribute, get your hands dirty, and experience what it’s like to be part of the day-to-day life of Flock.

Residencies: Get Sustained, Uninterrupted Work Done.

Step away, slow down, and make space for your creative work.

Flock’s Residency Program is designed for emerging and established visual creators, makers, writers, garden designers, ecologists, horticulturalists, and other creative practitioners who want focused, uninterrupted time to pursue a project in a nature-rich setting.

Surrounded by gardens, woods, meadows, and ponds, residents can immerse themselves in their practice while having a comfortable place to live, work, and recharge.

We plan to host 1–2 residencies in 2027. Residencies will be offered for set intervals and can accommodate up to two residents at a time.

Fellowship: Collaborate with Flock on a Creative Project.

Collaborate, co-create, and bring new ideas to life with Flock.

Flock’s Fellowship Program invites selected professional creatives to collaborate with our team on projects that explore new ideas, skills, and possibilities for the landscape. Fellowships are designed for artists, designers, writers, ecologists, horticulturalists, and other creative practitioners who want to co-develop meaningful work that can take root and evolve at Flock.

Fellows are selected through a highly selective process based on their interests, skills, experience, and body of work. Depending on the project, fellows may be invited to respond to a specific brief or submit a preliminary proposal.
